OUR MISSION:
Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we strive to proclaim the Good News of Jesus and share the traditions and faith of the Catholic Church. Together we praise God and grow in our faith.

OUR GOALS:

  • to provide a quality religious education experience for the children of St. Andrew Parish by working with the parents and through well-trained catechists
  • to encourage the families involved in the program to grow in their own faith through worship and service.

Families are asked to pay a nominal tuition cost and volunteer some amount of time.  However, no family will be turned away if the fee becomes a hardship to them.

What about First Communion and Confirmation?
Students who wish to celebrate these sacraments should already be enrolled in our program or attending a Catholic School.  The preparation process will involve both in-class activities and family activities outside of class.

Is there a Homeschool Program?
Parents are the primary teachers of faith, so at various times some parents will choose to instruct their child on their own.  We do not have a formal homeschooling program, but our experienced staff is ready to provide any parent with materials, lesson plans and support should they choose.  NOTE – children who wish to receive First Communion or Confirmation must be in a formal program for 2 years prior to receiving a Sacrament.  As such, homeschooling would not be a good solution in those years.
