Greetings from Msgr. Mike…..

May the love and peace of Jesus Christ be with all of us at this time of great concern!

We appreciate everyone’s patience and support during these troubling times. Life seems to be taking new twists and turns every day for us all, if not every few hours. It is a time of calling on the Lord to calm us, keep hope alive in our hearts, and strengthen us to reach out and help those who are truly in need.

Our “church life” has changed drastically over these past couple weeks. Though liturgies, programs and most gatherings have been suspended, we will – to the best of our abilities – attempt to assist with what may be needed and to continue with some minor semblance of normalcy. By this weekend, you should be able to watch Mass from St. Andrew on the weekend, (though it will be unusual for us to be celebrating with a church filled with empty pews).

During this time, please know that we will keep the church open for private prayer from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday -Friday; 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday; and 7:00 am – 1:00 pm, Sunday. We will monitor the space to ensure the recommendation of less than ten (10) occupants at a time is observed. Please watch our Facebook page and website for continual updates as may be necessitated.

Amid all of the concerns that surround this current global situation, and in light of the Archbishop suspending all public Masses, let me be very direct in pointing out that, just like all of you, our expenses continue during this difficult time, and now more than ever we will need you tithing support. Maybe now is the time to consider registering for Online Giving to make you contributions to St. Andrew. Online Giving makes use of current technology and security standards, and allows you to easily setup recurring contributions.

If Online Giving still makes you uneasy, you may mail your envelope or drop off your contributions at the Parish Office. Thank you and God bless you for the sacrificial gifts that you share with your parish family! Let us not panic, but place all our trust and hope in our God who loves each and every one of us so dearly!
