Welcoming Your Children
Our Preschool and Kindergarten programs are designed to provide young children with a warm and welcoming religious education experience. Everyday themes such as family, friends and sharing are introduced to help children relate their own experiences to faith formation, and to view faith as a part of their everyday lives.
What We Do
Lessons for all levels are based on age appropriate themes and concepts. Theme related activities include prayer, stories, videos, creative projects, bible stories and music. All are offered to help build basic skills, foster self-esteem, and encourage a sense of joy and wonder.
What Are The Ages?
We offer classes for kindergarten and pre-school (must be 4 years old by Dec 1st) which begin in October. Our 3 1/2 – 4 year old group begins in January.
We Use Age Appropriate Materials
We use a program called Stories of God’s Love from Benziger Publishers. It is a religion-readiness program which introduces children to scripture and relates it to their lives with stories, prayer, music, and crafts. Lessons for all levels are based on age-appropriate themes and concepts relevant to children. All activities are offered to help build basic skills, foster self-esteem, and encourage a sense of joy and celebration. In all we do, we attempt to relate everyday experiences to faith formation, and relate faith to our everyday lives.
When We Meet?
We meet during the 10:00 Sunday morning Mass. A schedule is provided at the beginning of the school year.
We strive to build on the foundation of faith begun in the home and create a positive tone for religious formation in the years ahead.
