At a very stressful time we bring the word of God to the bereaved. We go to the funeral home the evening before the funeral. We read selected passages from scripture, lead prayers, and do reflection. Few ministries are more appreaciated than this one. A handbook, training and mentoring with an experienced Wake Minister are provided. You might be called upon once or twice a month.
