Training For New Eucharistic Ministers
There will be a training session on Monday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Church for those who would like to assist with the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass.
The following are the two main requirements that should be met in order to serve as a Euchatristic Minsiter:
- Registered member of the Parish.
- Fully initiated in the Church, having received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
NOTE: Students to be Confirmed at St. Andrew on October 27 can attend this training and be commissioned to serve as a Eucharistic Minister.

Eucharistic ministers assist in distributing the Eucharist at Mass. Training is provided several
times a year by the Coordinator of Mass Coordinators and Eucharistic ministers. One can become
a Eucharistic minister after being confirmed.
