Our program for the children in Grades 1 – 5 recognizes that parents are the primary educators of their children in the ways of faith and morals while attempting to provide a regular setting for children to learn about their faith and discuss it with trained catechists. Throughout the course of the year, we meet with the children for a total of 30 hours (one hour and fifteen minutes for 24 sessions.) Sessions for elementary children are offered on Monday, 4:30 – 5:45; 6:00 – 7:15 and Tuesday, 4:30 – 5:45. Class size is usually between 10 and 14 children. Our catechists meet on a regular basis for planning, they are in compliance with the guidelines of the diocese concerning safety issues.
Registration for Religious Education takes place during August and September, sessions begin in October and are scheduled until the beginning of May. For more information, please call 248 651 6401 or 248 651 6571.
