Spotlight on Tithing
Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan
St. Andrew’s tithing now supports Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan. This is a nonprofit organization that provides wigs and services to children dealing with the appearance related side effects of hair loss due to cancer, alopecia and other medical conditions. After an initial consultation, each child receives a customized cut and styled wig. Follow up visits take place in a relaxed, affirming environment. Besides monetary donations, the organization needs volunteers to stuff envelopes, assist with the styling of wigs and holding of fundraisers. People may also make hair donations.
